6th Stop: Manassas, Virginia. Civil War City

After a little meandering on the east coast, Flat Lily finally made another appearance at the beginning of December. On December 8th, Flat Lily sent us photos from Manassas, Virginia. She was exploring this historic city with Everett, Betsy and Calvin.

Manassas is located not far from the US capital, Washington, D.C.

Flat Lily visited the Manassas Museum to learn about the Civil War.

She also saw the site of the famous Battle of Bull Run.

Before leaving town, Flat Lily stopped at the Manassas Train Station in the heart of old town Manassas. The train station was an important Civil War era junction. And it is busy today as a hotspot for D.C. commuters.

Thanks for hosting Flat Lily! She's off to a New Year in a new city. Where will that be?
