11th Stop: Tel Aviv, Israel. Hanging in the Holy Land

Flat Lily at the Old City of Yaffo.
Flat Lily has gone international! On November 16th we received pictures from Lily's first overseas stop: Tel Aviv, Israel. Flat Lily spent her time in Israel with cousins that we found through the miracle of social media. Our Israeli host, Maya, is the great-great-granddaughter of Chaia, the sister of Lily's great-great grandmother Freida.

10th Stop: Penobscot, Maine. Moose Country

On July 17th we received another picture from Flat Lily. She flew from New Mexico all the way to Penobscot, Maine. Penobscot is located in the northeast corner of the United States along the Bagaduce River.  The town of Penobscot takes its name, which means "rocky part" or "descending ledges", from the Penobscot Native American tribe.

Thanks for showing Flat Lily around your beautiful town, Linda! Where will Flat Lily go next?
