10th Stop: Penobscot, Maine. Moose Country

 

On July 17th we received another picture from Flat Lily. She flew from New Mexico all the way to Penobscot, Maine. Penobscot is located in the northeast corner of the United States along the Bagaduce River.  The town of Penobscot takes its name, which means "rocky part" or "descending ledges", from the Penobscot Native American tribe.

9th Stop: Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico. Flagpole Fiesta

Flat Lily checked in again on July 7th, this time from the Land of Enchantment- New Mexico. Flat Lily visited with our cousins, Joy and Michael, in the southwest village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque.

7th & 8th Stops: Galveston & Pilot Point, Texas. Texas Two Step

We had contact from Flat Lily! And she has been in Texas. On June 7 we received the final pictures from Flat Lily's time in the Lone Star State. Flat Lily was busy, hanging out with Great Aunt Amy and Great Aunt Marla.

6th Stop: Manassas, Virginia. Civil War City

 

After a little meandering on the east coast, Flat Lily finally made another appearance at the beginning of December. On December 8th, Flat Lily sent us photos from Manassas, Virginia. She was exploring this historic city with Everett, Betsy and Calvin.

5th Stop: Holland, Michigan. Surf & Turf

 

On July 31st, we received photos from Flat Lily's time in Holland, Michigan with Sarah, Nate, Corbin & Ollie. They had a great time taking advantage of the beautiful summer weather.

Postcards from the Road: Michigan

On July 18th, Lily received a postcard from Flat Lily and our friends Sarah, Nate, Corbin, and Ollie in Holland, Michigan. Corbin and Lily (and a few more friends Flat Lily will visit along the way) are July 2007 babies. It's hard to believe these kiddos are 6 already!

4th Stop: Chicago, Illinois. Opa!

Flat Lily, Grandpa and Picasso's Dog in Daley Plaza

On July 10th, we received pictures from Flat Lily's time with Grandma and Grandpa B in Chicago. It looks like they were quite busy!
